Based on the number officials registered as of March 1st, 2022, the decision was made to reduce the total crew count from 22 down to 21. This will allow DFOA to have more “depth” per crew and greater coverage due to injuries or nights that an official cannot work.
Crew Chiefs should be reaching out to DFOA members soon for 2023 preparation. Pool (Flex) officials can contact any Crew Chief on the list and join the study session of their choice. If a specific position is not listed for an official, that official can work or fill multiple roles if necessary.
